Fashionably Evil
I “never” read or watch horror, but back in 1991 I picked up Borderlands 2, an anthology of bizarre stories collected by Thomas F. Monteleone from the shop where I bought game stuff. One of the stories, “Foet“, by F. Paul Wilson, was particularly disturbing. (“Foet” was later made into a movie I didn’t watch, but which was apparently just as disturbing as the story.) Disturbed by the ghastly premise of the story (follow one of the links above for details, but I did warn you it was bizarre and disturbing…), I was glad that the real world wasn’t nearly that perverse.
I was wrong.
