A Resolution by the Hybner Family in Response to the 2013 Membership Standards Resolution by the Boy Scouts of America

Day 4 Fit and 40…the shoes have arrived!

Waiting with excitement… The brown truck pulled up and, in his hand, the driver carried the small box with my new running shoes and tights! I haven’t been this excited to move my body in such a long time…it is almost weird. I have already modified my eating and am working on keeping my blood sugar stable throughout the day…even took off a few pounds. Day 0 Fit and 40!

I have run the race… Ok, so anyone who knows me knows I used to be in excellent shape. About 13 years ago I successfully dropped over 135 pounds by limiting my intake and increasing my output. I have struggled to keep the weight off over the years, but have managed to keep the majority at bay. This has been an incredible year…big move (9 hours with horses)..oldest child got married..graduated college…helping ailing grandparent in her last days…All of these events have been the excuses to gain almost 40 pounds! This is the day…

This is the day the Lord has made… Let us rejoice and be glad in it! I awoke to the announcement of the resignation of my Pope…yes, my Pope. My family came into the Catholic Church in 2007 after falling head over heels for this institution. We felt strangely drawn to Blessed Pope John Paul II in 2005, as he passed from this life, and his long time assistant Joseph Ratzinger. I found myself completely grief stricken when Bl.
