Latin course (Seton) vs. Latin course (Weelock’s)

The two Latin courses are extremely similar except for maybe one point. Seton Latin strangely focuses more on the spoken Latin rather than (like Weelock’s) focusing on the written Latin. Both courses express the importance of both speaking the language and reading/writing it. Weelock’s goal is for the student to be able to read ancient Latin texts from a variety of authors and genres. While Seton’s Latin courses is  directed toward the catholic student enhancing their experience and participation in Latin Mass and prayers.
