Familiarity and Respect

Does Familiarity change our amount of respect for others? It truly depends on the circumstance. In one event we could meet a person who has similar or the same morals as ourselves. The more we become familiar with this person the more we respect them. In another event we could meet some one who, say, saved a life. We would usually respect them instantaneously because of their deed. But say  this same someone has opposite morals from ourselves. Our respect for them reduces greatly.     After writing the essay i compared the scores that were given to me.They were all very similar and the only big difference was the scorning (and that was not even a point in difference) it ended up being a 4.6 out 6 points
